Garstang in Blooms art project Commemorating our Heroes, Celebrating our Blooms got underway earlier this month.  The project is a community initiative bringing together participating community groups and sponsors to create a sculpture that commemorates 100yrs of WW1 and 50yrs of the RHS for the town of Garstang in Lancashire.

Celeste, the sculpture created as part of the Bowland Revealed Landmark Commissions, is sited at Stephen Park, Gisburn Forest.  The sculpture illustrates the wonderful hilly terrain, vibrant colours found within the Forest of Bowland and captures the vista from the rotunda out towards the water below and beyond.
