Christ Church CE Primary School wanted to celebrate the life of an inspirational member of staff, whose time was suddenly cut short. The teacher was very creative and inspired the children in her class. In memory of this member of staff the school asked me to deliver engagement workshops that resulted in the creation of anodised aluminium and mosaic butterflies. In some faiths they believe that butterflies spirit the soul away to somewhere heavenly and with this in mind the butterflies are a delicate tribute to this speacial member of staff.
